Privacy Policy

Opta Accounts is the sign-in and identity service for the Opta platform (optastack.ai), operated by Optamize. This policy explains what information we collect when you sign in, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- When you sign in with Google: your name, email address, and profile picture — that is all. We request only the basic openid, email, profile scopes. We do not access your Gmail, Calendar, Drive, or contacts when you sign in.
- When you sign in with email: your email address (used to send a one-time sign-in link).
- Optional integrations: if you later choose to connect a Google service from your dashboard, we request read-only access to the specific data you authorize (for example Gmail or Calendar) — only then, only what you approve, and you can disconnect at any time.
- Technical data: a session cookie to keep you signed in across.optastack.ai apps, and standard security and log information needed to operate and protect the service.
How we use it
We use your information solely to authenticate you, provide the Opta platform, and keep your account secure. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Where it is stored
Account and authentication data is stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider. Google provides the sign-in itself. Any tokens for optional integrations are stored encrypted and are only ever read by our servers.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie scoped to .optastack.ai so that one sign-in works across Opta apps. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email opta@optastack.ai. We keep account data while your account is active and remove it on request or when you close your account.
Children
Opta Accounts is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above will change accordingly. Material changes will be communicated through the service.
